Human Design Practitioner
Dr. Amara Osei’s path to holistic health began in the halls of conventional medicine. After completing her doctorate in public health at Emory University, she spent seven years in hospital administration — watching patients cycle through a system that treated symptoms but rarely addressed the whole person.
“I kept seeing the same patients come back,” she recalls. “Different diagnosis, same root pattern. The system wasn’t built to see them as complete human beings.”
A chance encounter with Human Design in 2019 changed everything. What started as personal exploration became a professional calling. Amara trained under IHDS-certified educators, logged over 1,200 practice hours, and built a thriving practice that integrates Human Design readings with evidence-based wellness coaching.
Today, Osei Wellness Collective serves over 200 clients annually, combining Human Design analysis with functional nutrition guidance and stress management protocols. Her unique approach — rooting intuitive frameworks in measurable health outcomes — has made her one of Austin’s most sought-after holistic practitioners.
“As someone who came from conventional healthcare, I know that credentialing is the difference between being taken seriously and being dismissed. ICONIC Board doesn’t just hand you a certificate — they evaluate how you actually serve your clients. The 7-dimensional framework pushed me to formalize my practice standards in ways I hadn’t thought about. My clients see the IBC-HHP™ on my wall and they know: this practitioner is accountable to something bigger than herself.”— Dr. Amara Osei, IBC-HHP™
Amara operates from one core belief: every person already has the blueprint for their optimal health — the practitioner’s job is to help them read it.
She combines the mechanical precision of Human Design’s bodygraph with practical, evidence-informed wellness strategies. Clients don’t just learn their “type” — they leave with a personalized protocol that accounts for their energetic design, nutritional needs, and nervous system patterns.
“I’m not here to replace their doctor. I’m here to help them understand themselves well enough to work with any healthcare provider more effectively.”
