Board Recognition Notice
ICONIC Board of Holistic Health — Formal Recognition

ICONIC Board of Holistic Health recognizes the following naturopathic education pathways as meeting the prerequisite education requirements for the corresponding IBC holistic health credential tiers. Practitioners whose education appears in the recognized programs list below are considered to have satisfied the education component of the relevant IBC application — subject to meeting all remaining requirements.

This recognition covers two fundamentally distinct education and practice tracks: Licensed Naturopathic Medicine (ND/NMD), governed by accreditation standards and state licensure; and Traditional Naturopathy and Herbalism, governed by program-specific curricula and professional training standards. Applicants must apply through the track that reflects their actual education and credential history.

Important — Education Pathway vs. Credentialing: Recognition of education pathways does not constitute endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with the listed institutions. ICONIC Board independently evaluates programs based on published curriculum standards and documented practitioner outcomes. Education prerequisite recognition does not constitute automatic credentialing. All applicants must independently satisfy ICONIC Board's requirements for professional practice hours, ethics attestation, CE compliance, and application review.
Licensed Naturopathic Doctors (ND/NMD) — Additional Notice: ICONIC Board professional practice credentials complement but do not replace state naturopathic licensure requirements. Licensed NDs must maintain all applicable state licenses independently. IBC credentials provide additional professional practice standards recognition — ethics, conduct, directory verification, and cross-modality professional development — the same way professional certifications add value on top of a graduate degree.
