ICONIC Board Certified Holistic Health Specialist
The IBC-HHS™ Specialist designation is a parallel credential that stacks on top of your existing IBC sequential tier. It formally recognizes advanced expertise in a specific modality or clinical domain — available to all IBC credential holders from IBC-HHA™ and above. Multiple Specialist designations may be earned and stacked.
How it displays on your credentials:
The Specialist designation requires demonstrating advanced, focused expertise within a specific modality — beyond the generalist standards required for your base sequential tier.
Must hold a current, active IBC sequential tier credential in good standing. The Specialist designation is an add-on — it cannot be earned independently.
Documented advanced training, coursework, or supervised practice hours specifically in the chosen modality or domain. Hours are in addition to those counted toward your base sequential tier.
Submission of 2 case summaries or a portfolio piece demonstrating advanced application of the specialty within professional holistic health practice. Reviewed by a modality-specific credentialing reviewer.
One reference from a recognized authority, senior practitioner, or program director in the specific specialty area confirming your expertise at the advanced level.
Each Specialist designation is applied for and renewed separately. Multiple specializations may be held and stacked on a single IBC credential.
Specialist designations are available across all recognized ICONIC Board modality pathways. Additional specialties are added as modality pathways are established.
More specialty areas added as pathways expand. Contact the Board for specialty areas not listed.
