ICONIC Board Fellow in Holistic Health
The IBC-HHF™ is the pinnacle of the ICONIC Board credentialing system. The Fellow designation is not applied for — it is conferred by the Board upon practitioners who have made transformative, sustained contributions to the holistic health profession. Reserved for the top 1–2% of credential holders at any given time.
This credential is not applied for. Fellow recognition is conferred solely by nomination and Board vote. Practitioners who believe they may be eligible may indicate their interest through the Board's formal nomination acknowledgment process — but the decision rests entirely with the ICONIC Board.
The ICONIC Board evaluates candidates for Fellow recognition across multiple domains of professional contribution. No single domain is decisive — the Board considers the totality of a practitioner's impact on the field.
Peer-reviewed publications, funded research programs, or empirical contributions that advance the evidence base for holistic health practice. Demonstrated scholarly impact in the field.
Sustained contribution to holistic health education — curriculum development, program leadership, or institutional founding that has demonstrably elevated practitioner preparation.
Meaningful advocacy for holistic health professional standards at policy, legislative, or institutional level. Work that has expanded access to or recognition of holistic health practice.
Documented mentorship of multiple practitioners over an extended period. Leadership in building professional community, ethics culture, or organizational infrastructure in the field.
Minimum requirement: Active IBC-DHH™ in good standing at time of nomination. No active ethics violations. The Board reserves the right to set any additional criteria it deems appropriate. Fellow status is not guaranteed to any practitioner regardless of credentials or contributions.
Fellowship in the ICONIC Board is an institutional statement — not a credential issued in exchange for a fee. It carries distinct professional weight precisely because it cannot be purchased or applied for.
IBC-HHF™ is the apex of the ICONIC Board system. No credential above it exists. Its scarcity — fewer than 2% of credential holders — is its defining characteristic.
The Fellow designation, once conferred, is permanent (subject to ethics compliance and annual maintenance). It is not subject to re-examination or re-application cycles.
Fellows are recognized publicly by the ICONIC Board through its official communications, annual recognition events, and public directory with Fellow-tier designation.
Fellows are invited to participate in Board advisory processes — including input on credentialing standards evolution, ethics code updates, and strategic direction.
Access to the private IBC Fellow network — a small, high-caliber peer cohort of recognized leaders across holistic health disciplines.
The Fellow designation signals institutional-level recognition to hospitals, integrative health programs, research institutions, and policy bodies seeking field experts.
