Understanding Credential Status

Active
The credential is current, in good standing, and the practitioner has met all renewal requirements. This is the only status that confirms active credentialing.
Lapsed / Expired
The credential has passed its renewal date without being renewed. The practitioner should not be described as currently credentialed. Reinstatement may be available.
Suspended or Revoked
The credential has been suspended or permanently revoked following an ethics or conduct review. The practitioner is not authorized to use ICONIC Board designations.
